The Gutsul legend tells, that once upon a time three legenys - musicians have fallen in love one beautiful woman, which could not decide to whom of them she should give her heart. All three legenys were handsome, decent and each of them was known all over the mountains due to his mastery of musical instruments. One of them played violin, another pipe, and third one cymbals. When someone from them played, this music enamoured all the people : both old and young. Even a chant of birds stopped, and a wind ceased blowing in pines. Each of the lads tried to create for her the most perfect melodies, and the girl could not choose which of them the best was. Once she has asked these three musicians to play together. And when the voices of the instruments were twined together, there was rising so glorious music, which nobody has ever heard before, as each musician showed not only beauty of his instrument, but also all force of his love and affection. And then the girl said : "YOU ALWAYS SHOULD PLAY TOGETHER!".
