MYKOLA LYSENKO
Mykola Lysenko (1842-1912) - composer, founder of ukrainian classical music. His compositions became the basis of ukrainian national opera art. Author of a huge series musical compositions by Taras Shevchenko's poetry. Lysenko's music - the example of a thin penetration in the emotional verse's structure, the exposure of psychology-truthful nature.
ANDRIY SHKURGAN
Andriy Shkurgan (born in 1961) - the representative of new generation of ukrainian opera singers, international laureate of competitions in Poland, USA, France, Finland, Germany.Since 1995 - he is the leading solist of Warsaw National opera. He sang in Michigan opera, Denmark Royal opera. Just for its performance, the singer was honored by one of the highest award of Ukraine - The National premium named after T.Shevchenko.
