POTICHOK: A Village Called "Little Creek"
Potichok, or "Little Creek" ia small village with only several rows of houses along a stretch of road that connects the towns of Horodenka and Sniatyn in the western Ukrainian oblast of Ivano-Frankivsk, not far from the Carpathian Mountains. The villagers still call it "the Emperor's Road" referring to the time before World War I when this region was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
